The role:

We’re recruiting for a Social Media Assistant to join our small but great team.

We require someone who is able to create and schedule engaging social media content. You will need to work well as part of a team, complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard and with the ability to work independently.

This role would suit someone who is skilled on all social media channels and enjoys being online.

The Social Media Assistant will be imaginative and have the ability to relay AK’s updates and brand messaging effectively to our followers.

The successful candidate will be required to work at the AK’s office in Beeston, Nottingham.

 

Role responsibilities:

•Responsible for Agatha K’s social media accounts, namely Facebook, Instagram and are testing content on new channels such as Tik Tok.

•To support the external online communications of AK.

•Monitoring social media platforms to help us understand what content is performing well and flagging any issues.

•Deliver engaging social media content to drive interactions and engagement

•Build and maintain a diverse and successful AK online community

•Promote AK programmes and offers using ads and digital content

•Responsible for scheduling social media content

•Work with the AK team to define, review and approve plans for social media channels

•Support and implement an AK social media strategy

•Responding to social media enquiries with appropriate responses

 

Essential requirements:

•Interest in working within social media marketing

•Strong communicator – both written and verbal

•Positive, friendly attitude with a willingness to learn

•Ability to work independently and in a team

•Creative and imaginative

•Excellent social media knowledge and skills

•Excellent organisational skills

Desirable requirements:

•Experience within a similar role

•Qualifications in a similar field
