COURSE CONTENTS:
This basic permanent-makeup class is designed to ensure every permanent makeup a student is trained to become a skilled, confident and knowledgeable student that will finish the course with skills and confidence to practice permanent-makeup eyebrow, eyeliner and lip procedures.
– Introduction to permanent makeup
– History of art and permanent makeup
– Overview of different types of machines and devices available and their differences and benefits
Colour and pigment theory
– Understanding the colour wheel, Fitzpatrick scale and how to match the correct colour to the skin tone of the client
– Pigment preparation, choosing pigment, mixing, storage
Makeup application
– Face mapping and how to pre-draw
– Understanding of correct methods of permanent makeup application
– What should and should not do when applying permanent makeup
Anatomy of skin
– Understanding of skin composition and layers
– Care and healing
– Skin diseases, disorders, infection, scars, moles, psoriasis, eczema, allergies
Tool, machines, and products
– Appropriate needle selection, configuration
– Maintenance, correct insertion, identify needle damage storage of needle, disposal, and preparation for sterilization
Sanitation, sterilization and hygiene
– Equipment sterilization
– Disinfectants and antiseptics
– Prevention of cross-contamination and infections
– Proper handling of hand tools

Client consultation
– Client profile, analyze and enquire clients desires, expectations

Ongoing
After you leave the training academy, you’ll need to start to build your portfolio. You must submit 5 procedures to us, with consent forms correctly filled out, and clear photographs. You have 6 months from leaving us to complete your portfolio. Once you do, we will provide you with a certificate of successfully completing the course.
The cost of our course is £3490 (inc.VAT) and we require a £1000 deposit to secure your place. Your deposit is NON-refundable due to our costs to book your place. If you would like to rebook or change the date of your course it is required that you give us 4 weeks notice, otherwise a new deposit will be expected. You can pay the deposit via PayPal or by bank transfer. The final balance will be due 2 weeks before your training starts.
